Privacy Policy – Underbuffed Uploader
Underbuffed Uploader is a private tool used only by the owner of the Underbuffed YouTube channel to upload, schedule and organize videos on that channel.
YouTube API Services. Underbuffed Uploader uses YouTube API Services. By using it, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service (https://www.youtube.com/t/terms). Google’s privacy practices are described in the Google Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy).
Data accessed. When the channel owner signs in with Google (OAuth 2.0), the app requests permission to manage the owner’s YouTube channel (scope: youtube). It uploads videos; reads and updates the owner’s own videos (title, description, tags, thumbnail, publish time, visibility); creates and organizes playlists; and maintains the channel’s page sections, description and banner. It also reads view, like and comment counts of the owner’s own videos to compare their performance. It does not access any other Google data and only acts on the owner’s own channel.
Storage. The sign-in token and the IDs of uploaded videos are stored only on the owner’s own computer. No data is sold, shared with third parties, or used for advertising. No cookies or tracking are used by the app.
Retention and deletion. Data retrieved from YouTube API Services is refreshed or deleted within 30 days. If access is revoked, all stored tokens and API data are deleted within 7 days. You can revoke access at any time via the Google security settings page: https://myaccount.google.com/permissions. To request deletion of any stored data, contact underbuffed.com@gmail.com.
