Paying Respects Quest Guide – Final Fantasy 7 Remake
In Chapter 8 you unlock several Quests in the Sector 5 Slums. One of those quests is Weapons on the Rampage. Complete it to unlock the Paying Respects Quest which can only be done during Chapter 8 in Final Fantasy VII Remake. It is Side Quest 12 in the Quest overview.
Paying Respects Guide
Quest Giver
Talk to the Old Man near the Weapon Shop in the Sector 5 Slums. He will ask you to go to his wife’s grave instead of him and pay respect.
Graveyard Key
You can buy the Graveyard Key from Moggie – Moogle Emporium Shop in the Children’s Secret Hideout in the Sector 5 Slums. You might need to finish his quest The Mysterious Moogle Merchant. An easy way to get Moogle Medals fast is playing the Whack-a-Box minigame in the Children’s Secret Hidout. For every try you will receive one.
Battle
Follow the path that leaves the Sector 5 Slums to the north and keep right to get to the graveyard. Use the key to enter the battlefield of the Paying Respects Quest where you have to defeat Venomantis. Venomantis is a monster variant and will help you complete Battle Intel Reports. Attack it with Ice magic to get rid of it easily.
Reward
Return to the Old Man to receive a Studded Bracer as your reward for completing the Paying Respects Quest in Final Fantasy 7 Remake.
